Meet The Flynns Bee Farm Family

Sudi Austin is the grand-daughter of the founders and has worked here since leaving college in 1987, she was taught all the necessary skills by her grandparents for continuing the family business.
Company founder Bill Flynn taught Sudi his own secret recipes for blending honey and Beeswax skin creams which she has since developed and expanded into the Garden Of England range.
Sudi's demonstration talks about Flynn's products are in popular demand and she travels all over the county explaining the benefits of beehive health products.
In recent years Sudi has supported the work of the charity BIBBA (Bee Improvement & Bee Breeders Association) through their local breeding group by allowing the farm to be used as a breeding site for native honeybees. Sudi & husband Chris look after their own Hives together.


Sudi's husband Chris Austin extracts, blends, bottles and quality controls all of our Garden of England honey range, he is also an expert at baking with honey and has made our famous Honey cream teas a popular tourist attraction.
Chris also manages our website giving customers all over the world the chance to see what we do here at Flynns. He is also an expert on the products we make and is always ready to give customers a guided tour of the things we have to offer.
Flynns Bee Farm is a way of life for the couple and their daughter Jasmine, many new ideas and products are discussed over the dinner table!


Creative director Alma Driver is Sudi's mother, and daughter of co-founder Iris Flynn and the creator of the Elmley Farmware brand, she studied at art college and can produce the most beautiful oil paintings and watercolours. She designed the Flynn's Bee Farms logo and continues to design all Flynn's Bee Farm labels.
Alma is also responsible for all of our graphic artwork such as Newsletters, posters, flyers and advertising. Her artistic skills spill over into many areas of design and product development and she helps to keep our appearance fresh by making seasonal displays.
Alma also makes all of our Honey sweets, biscuits, honey mincemeat and Iris Supple's Honey fruit and nut cake.
